If I could give this company and Ron Macksoud a negative 10 review, I would. He is grossly negligent as an appraiser. At times, I had to wonder how someone SO careless was actually granted a license to appraise ANYTHING as he's horrifically lacking in judgment and in detail when it comes to a DECENT appraisal. To start, he spent approximately 15 minutes looking at my 1230 sq ft condo in DTLA. He asked perhaps 5-6 questions. He didn't even bother to note that outside my double windows stood a 300 SQ FT BALCONY! A feature SO unique to DTLA. What's worse is that he used comps in the area that CLEARLY had no resemblance to the uniqueness of my condo. When asked if he'd like to see the amenities of my unit, which includes a pool, jacuzzi, basketball courts and a gym, he declined. I figured this guy must know what the DTLA market is about. I was sadly mistaken. There are AT LEAST 6 other items on my appraisal that were grossly inaccurate and it severely affected the value of my property. RON, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AT WHAT YOU DO IN YOUR PROFESSION AND I HOPE YOU DON'T CONTINUE TO RUIN PEOPLE'S LIVES WITH YOUR NEGLIGENCE. Do yourselves a favor & LOCK THE DOOR OR REFUSE TO HAVE THIS GUY ENTER if he comes to appraise your home.
