This appraiser is as unprofessional as they get. I know that if you’re using a bank you don’t always get a choice, but if you do, DON’T use this appraiser. He showed up late took 10 minutes in the house and used comparables that weren’t even close to our house. We tried to protest the appraisal but were never able to contact the appraiser in person. We only got his secretary (wife?) or an answering machine. Additionally, we had a separate lender that was willing to use his appraisal – and pay a second time for him to simply update and address - it took him 10 days to refuse to do this. Meanwhile it cost us a lot more money in interest and time. We ended up using a second appraiser that took time, asked questions and came back with a thorough and professional appraisal.
