Rate and Review Hester Appraisal Services

This man is not a man of his word. He made an agreement to help us out with an appraisal and for some odd reason became indignant and greedy. My client received an appraisal from him and they decided to refinance within 2 months and asked if Mr Hester would send the appraisal to the lender so the buyer wouldn't have to get another appraisal. He said he would then later would not help. He thinks he's sticking it to the bank but instead he stuck it to his client of which he had performed 2 appraisals and got paid for both. My client was willing to pay for the 2 minutes it would have taken to forward the appraisal. Bad business and not a man of his word. I would recommend not using his company for any services.

Terrible appraisal company!! Their appraiser Charlie has a very nasty attitude and was completely misinformed about market conditions in my area. They under-appraised our property by about $90k! We ended up selling the property at asking price. I would stay as far away from them as possible. If your bank orders an appraisal from them I would turn them down right away. Stay away from these crooks!
