This appraiser was contracted by my bank and he was really unprofessional and the appraisal was second-rate. When we asked him to correct obvious errors in the appraisal, he got huffy and refused to, saying we needed to "take it up with the lender." I'm taking the matter up with the state board (asc.gov the "appraisal sub-committee") because no-one should have to be subject, and he does not fulfill the minimum professional standards. Do yourself a favor and demand any other appraiser than David Serber.
