As I write this, I’m fully aware that a negative review will not phase Mr. Stevens. In fact, I’m confident that if he ever does read this, he will have successfully convinced himself that he did nothing wrong. I cannot speak on the quality of Mr. Stevens’ inspection as we never got to that point. He came to my home, spent an hour measuring and notating, and then gave an expectation of one week to complete the job. Here we are several weeks later and I’m still told “I’ll get to it in a day or so”. He is dishonest and doesn’t respond well to people that do not bend to his will.

Vindictive. Known as the "Deal Breaker" in the Columbus Real Estate market. His interests do not lie with the Veterans, but rather his own need for power. He is egotistical and almost non-communicative. Makes up his own idea of what is safe or acceptable for a property but will not commit to a standard of performance for what will satisfy his requirements. This appraiser needs to be run out of the business. I am surprised he has not been sued by the banks, Realtors, and buyers and sellers of property. I have worked on several jobs where he has nit-picked cosmetics and overlooked foundation or serious plumbing issues.

What a true piece of shit. Three weeks late with a VA appraisal and then tells everyone I hope you like the appraisal. Does what he calls an "inspection" after a certified inspector does a complete and thourough inspection. He is nothing but a power hungry narcisist who will not communicate with anyone. If he is assigned by the VA to be your appraisal aske for another one. FAST. This guy is a complete jerk. Will not even return a phone call.
